Hi guys! I've just decided to make a post for a month about me!

I don't like talking about me...and so I'll talk only about general thing of myself!

I think that, if someone want to know something more about me, he can talk with me...and discover everything about me by himself! Don't you think?? :)

Non amo molto parlare di me stessa (men che meno in stile "interrogatorio"!^^ )...

quindi vi racconterò un po' di me in modo "generico"!!!

Penso che se qualcuno volesse davvero conoscermi, potrebbe parlarmi direttamente (anche via mail eh!) e scoprire tutto di me da solo...no?? :)

Ans so...let's start with this first post!

As some of you already know, I've 2 tatoo. Both of them as a particular meaning for me!

This is the first one! I have decided to make it when I was 17 (april 2008)!

The lion is connected with my date of birth and sometimes with my behavior (but not always!)!

Allora iniziamo con questo primo post!

Come molti di voi già sanno, ho due tatuaggi! Ed entrambi hanno un significato particolare per me!

Questo è il primo che ho fatto nell'aprile 2008, quando avevo 17 anni!

Il leone è connesso alla mia data di nascita e, certe volte, anche al mio carattere (ma non sempre!)!

This is the second one! I've made it last april (april 2011)!

During an economy lesson I was thinking about one of the most important person of my life...and so I've drawn the initial of her name..and then I've made it on my skin! :)

Questo è il secondo, che ho fatto lo scorso aprile!

Durante una lezione di economia stavo pensando ad una delle persone più importanti della mia vita..e quindi ho iniziato a disegnare l'iniziale del suo nome...e in seguito me la sono fatta disegnare sulla pelle per averla sempre con me!

Hi guys! I've finally finished my biggest exams of this session...but unluckly there are still some exams for this winter session! I'll be back soon with a lot of new post! I promise!
But for now, as some of U already know, in Milan and in Italy is arrived the snowwww!
And so...how couldn't I take some shots?? And...why not with my giant bear?? :D Imagine the faces of the passers-by and of my mum when they saw me with the giant bear in my arms! :)

ciao ragazzi! finalmente ho finito e passato gli esami più grossi di questa sessione...ma purtroppo ci sono ancora un po' di esami in ballo! appena finiscono tornerò con un sacco di nuovi post promesso!
Come molti di voi sanno, a Milano come in gran parte dell'Italia, è arrivata la neveeee!!!
E quindi..come potevo non scattare qualche foto?? E perchè non con il mio orso gigante?? :D
Vi lascio immaginare la faccia di mia madre e dei passanti quando mi hanno vista girare per il giardino
con un orso gigante in braccio! :)

PS The dogs' owner told me: "While U take some shots of your baby, I take some shots of my dog!"...I looked at her with a big smile and I said "emh...really...I'm taking some shots to my bear!"...
I think I've shocked her!

PS Mentre scattavo le ultime foto la padrona dei cani mi ha detto "Mentre tu fotografi il tuo bambino io fotografo i miei cani!"...allora l'ho guardata ridacchiando e le ho detto "emh..veramente sto fotografando il mio orso gigante!"...Penso di averla sconvolta un po' con questa frase!

Hi guys! Yesterday afternoon, while I was studying I heard a strange sound...so I looked out of the window, on the tree end...there was a parrot!!! (I live in Milan...and it's very strange a thing like this!!!)
Then I saw three others parrots on the tree...but it was impossibile to take a shot with all of them :(
Yesterday, again, while I was preparing this new post, Google decided to delete my account and so my blog...I was really really desperated...but, luckly, my blog is come back!!! :)

Ciao a tutti!! Non immaginate mai cosa mi è successo ieri pomeriggio! Mentre studiavo ho sentito uno strano rumore fuori dalla finestra...ho guardato e c'era un pappagallo!!! Vivendo a Milano direi che è una cosa molto strana!!! Dopo ho visto altri tre pappagalli...ma purtroppo è stato impossibile fotogtrafarli tutti insieme! :(
Sempre ieri pomeriggio, mentre preparavo questo nuovo post, Google mi ha fatto uno scherzetto e mi ha disattivato l'account e quindi il blog...ero veramente disperata! Fortunatamente questa mattina è tornato tutto!!! :)

The light at the sunrise

Hi guys! Yesterday morning I've decided to get up before the sunrise (at 6.30am...I was like a sleepwalker!^^ ): Iwanted to take some pictures with a different light! You can't imagine the cold that I've taken, but it was worth it; trust in me!
I have to admit that this post is a bit long, but I've taken more than 200 photos..and it has been really difficult to reduce the choice to these I'm going to propose you! :)
Have you ever done a thing like this for the love of photography? :)

Ieri mattina ho deciso di alzarmi all'alba, anzi, prima dell'alba (alle 6 e mezza...dormivo in piedi!), per scattare qualche foto con una luce un po' diversa dal solito!
Non potete immaginare il freddo che ho preso, ma ne è valsa davvero la pena, credetemi!
Ammetto che questo post è un po' lunghetto, ma delle oltre 200 foto che ho scattato è già stata un'ardua impresa ridurre la scelte a queste che vi propongo! :)
E voi avete mai fatto una cosa simile per amore della fotografia? :)

How have you spent this night?? :)

Here the first shots of this new 2012! Yesterday I've tried to buy the new lens...the 50mm: it was sold out in every shop of Milan :( ..."bad way" to finish the last year, but I think that this sunset (with his wonderful colours) have rewarded the "bad luck" of yesterddy..don't U think?? :)

Salve a tutti, sono Filippo Locatelli, voglio innanzitutto ringraziare Barbara dell'opportunità che mi ha dato, e che mi da di farmi conoscere a tutti quelli che seguono e seguiranno questo blog ; Voglio congratularmi anche con tutti i partecipanti, è stato un piacere concorrere con persone con grandi capacità artistiche, se avessi dovuto votare una delle foto avrei avuto delle difficoltà, sono tutte molto belle, siete stati molto bravi.

Nasco a Cremona il 29/09/1982, e fin da quando avevo 3-4 anni amavo l'arte, quasi ogni giorno mi facevo portare dalla mia baby-sitter nel duomo e nelle chiese della mia città, ad ammirare i dipinti ; Crescendo il mio amore per l'arte si è trasformato in un amore generale per la cultura e il sapere, che mi ha portato a pari passo con lo sviluppo tecnologico ad amare l'informatica, per chi di voi usa sistemi operativi Linux, può seguirmi qui: http://www.ubuntuecc.altervista.org/ ; Intorno a 12 anni ho preso in mano la mia prima macchina fotografica, e fu amore a prima vista, una piccola kodak, in ogni occasione disponibile scattavo delle foto; finalmente verso i 15 anni mi fu regalata una zenith, e con quella imparai le basi della messa a fuoco, e feci quelle che furono le mie prime foto, ma i costi delle pellicole e di sviluppo, non mi permisero di coltivare a fondo la mia passione.

Con l'avvento delle fotografia digitale, nell'agosto del 2002 mi fu regalata la mia prima macchina fotografica digitale una Nikon Coolpix 2200, un gioiello di tecnologia, con essa ho imparato a fare ottime immagini, anche senza il controllo di ogni dettaglio della macchina fotografica, ho letteralmente divorato qualche scheda di memoria, e una batteria, questa piccolina tutt'ora collabora ancora con me, ed è in grado di fare ancora ottime immagini, nonostante i suoi “soli” 2 Megapixel ; nel maggio 2005 mi è stata regalata la mia attuale Nikon Coolpix 8800, una bridge (così si definiscono oggi) con il carattere di una reflex, con lei ho avuto il controllo totale di ogni dettaglio dell'immagine, se fino a quel momento creavo ottime immagini, con la nuova arrivata potevo creare quella che per me è arte, una forma espressiva di emozioni e colori, un immagine permette di collegare la vista con le emozioni, gli occhi con il cuore.

Nelle fotografia i miei soggetti preferiti sono animali e fiori, anche se amo molto i paesaggi, presto voglio misurarmi anche con il fotografare persone, cosa che ho fatto solo per ora per amici e parenti, quindi immagini personali, nulla di artisticamente rilevante.

Last spring I went near Florence, in Tuscany: I went to Pratolino and I visited the Medici's manor!
It's a beautiful villa with an enormous park and a wonderful view of Florence!
I suggest you to visit this place: the atmosphere is amazing!

La scorsa primavera sono andata vicino a Firenze, in Toscana: sono andata a Pratolino per visitare la Villa de' Medici! è una villa bellissima con un parco immenso ed una stupenda vista di Firenze!

Vi consiglio di andarla a visitare: l'atmosfera è stupefacente!

Romantic sunset

Have you avere stop to think how beautiful nature is in its simplicity? This is what is happened to me a few moments ago when I took this picture!
Today was a really "bad" day, if I may say so, but when I came home, looking out the window, I realized that there was a "strange" light put...I looked out and I saw immediately that the sky was pink / red!
It was really great!
It's in these moments that we understand how little things, after a bad day, can make you smile!
In addition, it's says that : red sky at night, hopefully not?
So hopefully that tomorrow will be a beautiful day for everyone!

Vi capita mai di fermarvi a pensare quanto sia bella la natura nella sua semplicità? a me è successo qualche minuto fa quando ho scattato questa foto!

Oggi è stata davvero un giornata "sfortunata", se così si può dire, ma appena sono rientrata a casa, guardando fuori dalla finestra mi sono accorta che fuori c'era una luce "strana"...mi sono affacciata subito e ho visto che il cielo era tutto rosa/rosso! Davvero stupendo!

è in questo momenti che si capisce come le piccole cose, dopo una giornata storta, possano farti sorridere! Poi come si suol dire: "rosso di sera bel tempo si spera" no?

Quindi speriamo che domani sia una bellissima giornata per tutti!

Yeah! You got it! I went to London by car...from Milan! It has been a different kind of journey for a thousand of reasons! The most obvious one? The infinite diversity of the landscapes we've seen!
Here there are just a few examples!

There are no words to describe my emotion when I saw the Eiffel Tower light up in the night!
If you go to Paris keep attention to the clock: every hour the Tower begins to sparkle like a firework!!!

These shots were taken 4 summers ago...at 7:57 in the morning! Saying that to see the sunrise over the sea illuminated by beautiful shades is a wonderful thing it's reductive to say!
Have you ever seen a sunrise at sea? :)

Who doesn't love cookies?

Have you ever had days where you feel like doing something and you are not satisfied until you do it? Here I am today: I wanted to make biscuits, one of those classics that you eat hundreds! I cook rarely and when I cook I make desserts...and luckily I have some "ability" innate thanks to which I can cook well!
You cannot imagine the smell that was in the whole house! Have you days like this? :)

Non vi è mai capitato di avere giornate nelle quali avete voglia di fare qualcosa e non siete soddisfatti fino a quando non la fate? Ecco io oggi avevo voglia di fare dei biscotti, di quelli classici che si mangerebbero a centinaia! Le poche volte che cucino è per fare dolci..e per fortuna ho qualche "capacità" innata grazie alla quale mi riescono pure bene!
Non potete immaginare il profumino che c'era in tutta casa!

This afternoon, while I was shopping, I went into the JDC in Milan centre: throughout the store there was such a beautiful music that made me really want to go shopping! You can imagine my surprise when I saw in front of me the dj in the middle of the store! How I couldn't take a photo? :)

Questo pomeriggio mentre facevo shopping sono entrata alla JDC in centro a Milano: in tutto il negozio c'era della musica stupenda che faceva davvero venire voglia di fare shopping! Non potete immaginare la mia sorpresa nel trovarmi davanti la dj in mezzo al negozio! Non potevo non farle una foto no?? :)

Firts tutorial: skylight filter

I must admit that I've never thought about take a filter (of any type), but one day looking for things in my house I've found one with an old reflex: it's a skylight filter. After have red the "instructions" contained in, I've discovered that through this filter you can make the sky more blue and the portraits taken in the presence of halogen lamps less red! At first I was doubtfull...but after having tried it I've already thought about a million photos that I'll take using this filter!
Meanwhile I leave you with some photos, shoot with / without the filter...let me know what do you think about it!

Devo ammettere che non avevo mai pensato di prendere un filtro (di qualsiasi tipo), ma un giorno cercando delle cose in casa ne ho trovato uno insieme ad una vecchia reflex: si tratta di un filtro skylight. Dopo aver letto le "istruzioni" contenute ho scoperto che tramite questo filtro è possibile rendere più blu il cielo e rendere meno rossi i ritratti scattata in presenza di lampade alogene! All'inizio ero un po' dubbiosa..ma dopo aver provato ho già pensato ad un milione di foto che farò usando questo filtro!
intanto vi lascio con alcune foto, scattare con/senza il filtro..fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate!

Finally exams are over! Sorry for the absence in these two days but I've had to study hard before the last exam and the joy of have them finished I think it's well represented by these shots!

The indifference

One of the things that I just cannot stand in this world is indifference towards anyone.
How could you see someone in trouble and not care?
How could you notice someone's suffering without doing nothing to support him?
How could a person not care about the world around, think always and only to himself and never look around to see what happens to the rest of the world?
These are things that I will never understand.

Una delle cose che proprio non sopporto di questo mondo è l'indifferenza, verso chiunque. Come si può vedere una persona in difficoltà e fregarsene?
Come si può vedere qualcuno che soffre e non fare niente per consolarlo?
Come si può pensare sempre e solo a se stessi e non guardarsi mai intorno per vedere cosa succede al resto del mondo?
Sono cose che non capirò mai.

The photography is my biggest passion: that’s why I’ve decided to open this blog! Three years ago I’ve opened a Flickr account where I’ve posted many of my favorite photos, but now I’ve decided to create my own space to transmit to you a bit of my passion and of my life’s experiences! Personally I prefer to stay behind the camera instead of stay in front of it and that’s the reason why there will be fewer pictures of me, but more photos taken by me!
